Hello...

CCPI Europe re-launches thermocouple protection tubes within its extensive range of temperature measurement products.

Silicon Carbide Foundry Tip

As part our product re-launch for 2022, CCPI Europe reminds all our readers that we have been supplying a range of superior quality and cost-effective thermocouple protection tubes for over 35 years; for use within the aluminium, foundry and molten metals industries.

Our thermocouple protection tubes come in a wide range of high-temperature corrosion resistant materials. From Cast Iron and Syalon all the way to Silicone Carbide, our thermocouple protection tubes are manufactured to your specifications.

What Thermocouple Protection Tubes do CCPI Europe offer?

Cast Iron Thermocouple Protection Tubes

Cast iron thermocouple protection tubes are typically used within high fire furnaces, charging of scrap and ingot and furnace de-drossing due to their excellent strength for cast house handling.

Syalon Protection Tubes

Syalon protection tubes are world renowned for their outstanding performance in contact with non-ferrous molten metals, particularly aluminium and zinc.

Silicone Carbide / Foundry Tip

The silicon carbide foundry tip products are typically used within holding wells, combination furnaces and filter boxes due to their resistance to penetration by molten metal and dross which results in long life.

Degassing Steel Flux Pipes

Degassing steel flux pipes are ceramic-coated steel pipes that provide unique benefits to the aluminium processor. The flux pipe is entirely surfaced with a high-quality ceramic coating that is high fired to provide maximum performance.

Cast Iron Riser Tubes

Cast iron ceramic-coated riser tubes offer versatility, consistent performance and value. They are manufactured using proprietary alloyed cast iron, with all parts of the riser tubes are ground and shot blasted prior to ceramic coating.

CCPI Europe was founded in 1984 on the outskirts of Sheffield, United Kingdom. Sheffield is known famously as “The Steel City” thanks to its global reputation for steel production during the industrial revolution.

With over 35 years of industry experience, we are the experts in the field of manufacturing and calibration of temperature sensors. We work in partnership with our customers to ensure we don’t just meet but in addition, we exceed their expectations.

More about the CCPI Europe Thermal Calibration Laboratory

The CCPI Europe UKAS accredited Thermal Calibration Laboratory (No. 0600) operates in the temperature range of –200 °C up to and including 1600 °C. Also, proudly holding some of the tightest uncertainties of measurement for thermal calibrations held by a commercial calibration laboratory.

The laboratory holds UKAS accreditation (No. 0600) (IEC 17025) for the calibration of thermocouples, resistance thermometers and associated measurement instrumentation such as controllers, indicators, chart records and multi-function calibrators. BM TRADA issues the accreditation to ISO 900, it demonstrates the company’s dedication to quality and traceability.
