Increase in ISO 9001 Scope
Increase in ISO 9001 Scope for CCPI Europe Ltd.
CCPI Europe has held ISO 9001 approval covering the manufacture of temperature sensors for over 20 years. During the latest BSI third-party approval audit, the CCPI Europe quality team were looking for an extension to scope. This update was to increase the third party approval to the quality systems, extending the cover to the calibration of temperature sensors and associated equipment, inclusive of thermal environment surveys, for both laboratory-based and on-site conducted tests.
We are happy to confirm this extension to scope has been granted to CCPI Europe by BSI.
What does this mean for customers?
CCPI Europe has held UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accreditation for the calibration of temperature sensors and associated equipment since 1998 and on-site UKAS accreditation since 2001. We understand that not all customers require their calibrations to be covered by UKAS certification. Therefore regardless of the certification level selected, this new extension to scope will assure our customers that the certification issued by CCPI Europe will be in accordance with a third-party approved Quality Management System.
Who should be doing your On-site calibrations?
If you are working to AMS 2750, BAC 5621, RPS 953, CQI 9, and many other specifications you do not always require certification to the UKAS level. However, you do need to be confident about the traceability and credibility of the organisation and the associated quality system supplying your certification. Along with the support of experienced calibration engineers you can rely on the total calibration service supplied by the CCPI Europe team.
