Software in the CCPI Europe calibration laboratory
21 April 2016 By Paul Roper
The CCPI Europe laboratory has some of the best measurement equipment and thermally stable test environment for temperature measurement available to metrologists. The laboratory technicians also have a vast experience in the testing and calibration of thermocouples and temperature sensors.
In addition to this CCPI Europe certified software engineers create bespoke calibration software in house to solve both complex & simple tasks faced during calibration and data handling.
The software engineers use the industry standard National Instruments LabVIEW architecture which enables the software to be at the forefront of measurement and automation control.
The software engineers, like the calibration technicians are UKAS accredited laboratory technicians. This is a huge advantage as it affords them the ability to pre-empt issues that may arise during use as they understand the job process themselves, rather than just working from a specification. Through this the CCPI Europe laboratory gets tailor made software to meet any & all requirements needed. All these pieces of software can be recycled & modified at very short notice saving money, time and most importantly increasing the efficiency and service of our calibration systems.
Along with our in house suite of software CCPI Europe software engineers have also worked with customers in the calibration environment and data handling field to design & provide comprehensive calibration solutions.
